Due to new CDC requirements and limited space in the cat lounge, we have decided to discontinue our cafe at this time. Our cat lounge will remain open for guests to meet and relax with our rescue resident and adoptable cats.
Cats & COVID-19
There is no evidence that these animals can transmit the disease to humans and spread COVID-19. COVID-19 is mainly spread through droplets produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or speaks.
Based on the limited available information, the risk of animals spreading the COVID-19 virus to people is considered low. Animals don't appear to play a significant role in spreading the virus that causes COVID-19. There is no evidence that viruses can spread to people or other animals from a pet's skin, fur or hair.
